Calling all school-based SLPs!
Finally! A stress-free, fast way to write clear, functional,
legally-defensible goals
with confidence.

Let me guess...
You know you need to write those IEP goals, but the pressure and overwhelm is too much.
But between trying to write a goal that is clear and effective…
And making sure to meet all the requirements so that it doesn’t get torn apart by a legal team…
You’re already reaching for the Tylenol.
I’ve been there. It can be anxiety-inducing and downright terrifying to try to carefully craft a goal that will be looked at with a magnifying glass by parents, advocates, and even legal teams.
And even though you’d feel safe sticking to the short, sweet, and all at 80% kind of goals… something in you knows that doesn’t actually benefit your students.
(And you and I both know it will probably drive everyone crazy.)
Why didn’t they teach us this stuff in grad school… am I right?!
If you have written a goal that says, 'Student will answer WH Questions with 80% accuracy.'... keep reading.
Keep reading if you feel unsure about data, what to track, and how to translate data into goals that are:
-
Objectively written
-
Easily assessed
-
Legally defensible

What if I told you...
It’s totally possible to confidently write clear, functional, legally defensible goals every single time.
You’ll stroll into the IEP meeting with a twinkle of pride in your eye, knowing you’ve purposefully crafted a goal everyone will support.
In fact, they might even ask for your help writing their IEP goals!
They’ll wonder how you got straight to the root of the issue to create a goal that meets the needs of your student with fierce accuracy.
And you’ll come prepared to talk about how you used your assessment to intentionally create the right goal, unique to this student.
Imagine a world where goal writing looked like this...
-1-
Simple and stress-free data collection and analysis
-2-
Clear, functional goals written with ease
-3-
Confidently walking into IEP meetings, knowing you've done the best you can for your students
A Note from Maureen
I've been a school-based SLP for over a decade. I love to nerd out 🤓and teach you all the stuff they never talked about in grad school so you can write accurate and legally defensible IEPs that don’t leave you with headache.
As school-based SLPs, 'free time' doesn't exist. So, the time available you do have for writing goals and reports shouldn't take forever!
My mission is to help school-based SLPs kick goal-writing stress to the curb, so they can get back to doing the parts of this job they love and have less stress when it comes time for paperwork and meetings.
